Hi, I'm Ms. Eatmon, and this will be my 17th year of teaching! I graduated with my Masters Degree in Elementary Education in 2003 from Jackson State University and I earned my Adminstrator's Certification from Lamar University in 2015. I have taught in Vicksburg, Mississippi and in Fort Worth, Texas. Teaching from prekindergarten through 6th grade, excluding 4th grade. This includes English Language Learners, Dyslexic students and Gifted and Talented classes. I was campus teacher of the year in 2008 and 2012. I believe learning never ends because education is always advancing.Therefore, you have to develop your skills to continue to grow. Teachers have to have the heart and passion for their careers. I live by the motto “You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late" a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
